A BIT ABOUT ME:

Joni Davis - I will greet your child with 12 years of Virginia Beach experience under my belt - all in 4th grade.  I teach Language Arts to my homeroom, and science and social studies to both homerooms.  I was raised in Northern Virginia (Vienna), and came to Tidewater to attend Old Dominion University.  My husband and I have two children.  My son Aaron is a senior at Kempsville High School, and my daughter Brynn is a junior.  We also have a black lab named Bama and a chihuahua named Mickie.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and camping with my family. 

I look forward to an awesome year of teaching and learning with your child!  I try to bring a sense of fun and humor to the classroom, as well as an excitement to both learn as much as possible and to aspire to greatness as we "swim in the Pool of Knowledge."
